Do I get points when I use Google Pay?

When using Google Pay, you will receive the normal credit card rewards you would get when using the physical card! Therefore, you will enjoy the benefits of your card, just with the added benefit of using through the in-phone application.

That’s great but which banks support Google Pay?

Google Pay is supported by all major bank and credit card providers in the US, as well as the larger credit unions. The banks which support this method of payment include:

• Bank of America
• Barclays
• Citi Bank
• Chase
• T.D. Bank
• Wells Fargo
• Synchrony Bank

Note: there are exceptions: cobranded cards from Citi, for example, such as their AAdvantage/American Airlines cards, Sears, Macys and Home Depot cards are not compatible with Google Pay. Some commercial credit cards or ATM-only cards issued by other banks may not support Google Pay. 

Commercial Visa cards from a bank and Wells Fargo issued Mastercard credit cards are also not accepted.
