What is Centurion lounge access anyway?

American Express’ Global Lounge Collection offers the most extensive airport lounge access compared to any other U.S. credit card program. It is a network of more than 1,200 lounges in airports across 130 countries. 

The American Express Centurion Lounge is a subset of this group, consisting of ten premium lounges, offering first-class amenities such as food designed by award-winning chefs, drinks created by top mixologists and spa services at no additional cost to eligible cardholders. 

Amenities available at every Centurion Lounge:

• Dedicated member services desk
• Fresh, locally-inspired food developed by award-winning chefs
• Premium bar featuring high-quality wines and spirits
• High-speed WiFi
• Semi-private workspaces
• Computer bar with printer/fax/copier
• A selection of TVs, magazines and newspapers

Does access come with the Amex Blue Cash card?

No. Currently access is only afforded to cardholders of the following:

• The Business Platinum Card from American Express
• The Platinum Card from American Express
• The Centurion Card from American Express*

*The Centurion Card is invitation-only and has a soft-requirement of $250,000 annually on an AmEx card. This therefore leaves the choice between the Business Platinum Card and the Platinum Card.
