Can I transfer AAdvantage miles?

It is important to note that while American Airlines has both Oneworld partners and non-alliance partners, your AA miles cannot be transferred from American Airlines to any partner airline. Therefore, if you want to utilize your miles to book a flight with an American Airlines partner, you would have to initiate the booking with American Airlines themselves. You can use these miles to redeem other rewards, such as car rentals and booking hotels.
