Capital One and Hotels.com have partnered to provide Venture and VentureOne great rewards on their hotel bookings. Cardholders can enjoy 10x miles or 10 miles per dollar on qualifying bookings made through hotels.com/venture.

This promotion is valid through January 31, 2020.

How do I take advantage of this offer?

To earn 10x miles on your hotel stays, you must first have the correct credit card. You must have either the Capital One Venture or Venture One card. Thereafter, you must make your hotel reservations only through hotels.com/venture. Therefore, reservations made via the Hotels.com app or any other Hotels.com link would not qualify including simply hotels.com. You must pay your reservation with your Venture or Venture One card. 

Do I earn 10x miles for incidental purchases made at my hotel?

No, you will not earn 10x miles to incidental charges at your hotel. Only the eligible bookings made through hotels.com/venture qualify for the 10x miles rewards.

Can I use coupons and promo codes with my booking and still earn rewards?

Yes, you can use discounts, promo codes, and coupons when making your reservation. You can not, however, use any third-party extension like Ebates.com or Honey. If you do use any third party extension, your reservation will not be eligible for the 10x miles rewards. 

Do I need a Hotels.com Rewards account to earn 10x reward miles?

No, you don’t need a Hotels.com Rewards account to earn the reward miles. However, it would wiser to create and use a Hotel.com Rewards account as you can earn a free hotel stay for every 10 bookings.

Is this program worth it? 

Considering that this card is giving you 10x miles for every booking you make, this card may be the perfect fit for constant travelers. If however, you don’t find yourself in several hotels a month then you may want to reconsider using this card for its hotel rewards program. While this card does offer other rewards and benefits that may better suit your needs, you can really take advantage of using a Capital One Venture or VentureOne card by earning 10 miles per dollar.
