Discover It allows cardholders to earn 5% cash back at different categories every quarter and 1% cash back on any other purchase. We are going to go through the 2020 Discover It 5% Calendar to give all cardholders a better picture of managing their spendings. 

From January to March:

From January 1sy to March 31st, Discover It offers 5% cash back reward at Grocery stores, Walgreens, and CVS on up to $1500 spending. 

From April to June:

From April 1st to June 30th, cardholders can enjoy a 5% cash back reward at Home Depot, Gas Stations, Uber, Lyft, and Wholesale Clubs on up to $1500 spending. 

From July to September:

From July 1st to September 30th, this card provides 5% cash back at restaurants and Paypal on up to $1500 spending.

From October to December:

In the last quarter of 2020, all customers can earn a 5% cash back bonus when they spend up to $1500 at Amazon.com, Walmart.com, and Target.com.

In addition to unlimited 1% cash back reward and different 5% cash back bonus, cardholders will also receive an unlimited dollar-for-dollar match on all the cash back they earned at the end of the first year. With all the benefits, cardholders are able to save a great amount of money from Discover It credit card.
