There are a lot of benefits to using a credit card, one of which is taking advantage of the rewards that a credit card offers you. Below is a round up of three of the credit cards with the best rewards. This list is by no means comprehensive, and our full list of rewards credit cards can be found here.

Citi Rewards+ Card

Rewards rate: 2x points at supermarkets and gas stations, 1x points on all other purchases, 10% boost in points upon redemption

Welcome bonus: 15,000 points after spending $1,000 within the first 3 months

Annual Fee: N/A

The Citi Rewards+ Card is ideal for those looking for a simplistic rewards structure. It is good for those who spend a lot at supermarkets and gas stations, while still offering points in all other purchases as well. This card is the only one that rounds up to the nearest 10 points on every purchase, with no cap on points. The points themselves can be redeemed as gift cards from a large variety of department stores and restaurants, and can also be redeemed for travel rewards like flights, hotels, and more. You can also use these points on Amazon or BestBuy.com. The card also offers good full access to the Citi Entertainment Portal, which offers special access to events, concerts, sports games, restaurants, and more.

The Citi Rewards+ Card has no annual fee, making it easy to earn rewards without paying extra. The card itself offers contactless pay, which means you can just tap your card on the card reader for quick payment. There is also 24/7 customer service for the card, so if you ever have any questions or issues at any time of the day, Citi has people who can help you.

Wells Fargo Cash Wise Visa

Rewards rate: 1.5% cash back on everything

Welcome bonus: $150 when you spend $500 in the first three months

Annual Fee: N/A

The Wells Fargo Cash Wise Visa is a good card for those who don’t spend a lot on a daily basis, such as students or those with multiple cards. The points on your card will never expire as long as your account stays open, and there is no annual fee, so you can passively earn cash back with your daily spending. If you use a digital wallet like Apple Pay during the first 12 months of opening your account, you can get a cashback of 1.8%. The Wells Fargo card also offers a unique range of services. For example, it offers a cell phone protection plan if you pay your phone bill with your Wells Fargo card. There is also an Auto Rental Collision Protection, which will reimburse you for damages that happened to your rental car.

You can keep track of your cash back online using cash track, and there are many options for redeeming your cash. This includes using your Wells Fargo debit card to redeem cash from ATMs or getting a direct deposit into your Wells Fargo account. The cash is only redeemable through Wells Fargo services, which means that not every ATM will have it. With the card, you have much more flexibility in how you can spend your rewards, as it is in the form of cash.

With a cash back of 1.5%, an introductory $150 bonus when you spend $500 in the first three months, and rewards that never expire, the Wells Fargo Cash Wise Visa is a good, simple rewards card that offers useful rewards.

Chase Sapphire Reserve

Rewards rate: 3x points on travel and dining, 1x points on all other purchases

Welcome bonus: 50,000 points after spending $4,000 in the first 3 months

Annual Fee: $550

The Chase Sapphire Reserve is a good card for frequent travelers or frequent restaurant goers, as it offers 3x points on travel and dining. The rewards categories are quite far reaching, making it a lucrative rewards card. For example, the travel includes flights and car rentals, but also expenses like Uber and Lyft or tolls. There is a lot of flexibility to redeem your points, and you can use points to redeem flights and hotels with a multitude of partners.

In addition to the points rewards, the Chase Sapphire Reserve card offers a lot of perks. For example, the card offers $300 in travel credit every year, a DoorDash DashPass which offers free delivery, and a year of Lyft Pink. The card also gives you access to over 1,300 airport lounges with Priority Pass Select, and offers travel insurance on airfare and car rentals.

While the annual fee of $550 seems high, you get an annual travel credit of $300 every year, which means the actual amount you have to pay is closer to $250 as long as you use the travel credit. Along with the points and the in person perks, this card is definitely worth it for frequent travelers and those who eat out often.

Some other good rewards credit cards that you can look into are:

  • Bank of America Travel Rewards Credit Card for a simple rewards plan
  • American Express Gold Card for dining and supermarkets
  • Wells Fargo Propel American Express Card for a wide range of rewards categories
